I felt honored to be asked by another photographer to shoot his family photos. He enjoys crossfit, which is where we met. It was a beautiful night spent at Greenwood Park in Des Moines, IA. I have 3 of my own kids, so I understand that with little ones sometimes it's simply chasing after them to do what you can to capture photos of the family, both candid and posed.
