I had the privilege of taking extended family photos for a gal I used to work with in admissions at Grand View University in Des Moines. It was her and her husband's 40th wedding anniversary and all the family would be together, so why not schedule a professional photo session!?! Since the weather was a bit blustery, we took a few shots under the overhang and the rest indoors at the Ankeny Kirkendall Public Library. Later that day, their daughter surprised her parents by hiring me to take photos at their anniversary party. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been part of their celebration! They are such a sweet family and their friends were as well. I hope these photos will be enjoyed for years to come.
